During the last session of the 5th Global Peter Drucker Forum, Harvey Wheaton, chairman at the board of Scrum Alliance, the largest, most established, influential professional membership organization in the Agile world. As a nonprofit, membership organization with a growing community of more than 250,000 members worldwide, Scrum allows teams to deliver products in short cycles, enabling fast feedback, continual improvement, and rapid adaptation to change in particular in the area of software development.

He stated that the world of work is increasingly moving towards the world of change and projects, and it is the management of these that are the keys to success.

John Elvidge shared some of his experiences of change based on the example of the governmental changes in Scotland in 2007. He began with the warning that this was an outlier and might not always be applicable. Reassuring the audience, he said that he would not pronounce the word airport.
On the second day of the 2013 Peter Drucker Forum, Yves Doz, Solvay Chaired Professor of Technological Innovation at INSEAD, looked at the existing challenges that governments face in an increasingly complex world.
Lynda Gratton, Professor, London Business School; Founder of the Hot Spots Movement, a research and consulting team melding both business and academia; and a well known organizational theorist, led a Q&A session outlining whether complexity is really in the minds of top business leaders when managing their companies. Two top business leaders, Rick Goings, CEO of Tupperware Brands, and Natarajan Chandrasekaran (Chandra), CEO and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy, gave her their take on complexity in organizations.
