The City University of Hong Kong offers amazing facilities (even a swimming pool!). Everything is made so that you can enjoy your time like never before… So you’d better not forget your camera !!

City U offers many interesting courses

International students at City U, Hong Kong

“I enjoyed hanging out with international students.” says Pascal Masapollo.

From an academic point of view I had the opportunity to choose some courses focused on Asia such as Marketing in China in which we studied and compared strategies of local companies versus those of their western competitors. In fact the university offers a wide range of modules and the facilities are amazing which makes you feel very comfortable while studying in the campus. Moreover, I was able to hang out with people from various countries (Germany, USA, the Netherlands etc) which made me discover their habits, rituals, and even their languages. By playing rugby with the university team, I had also a chance to meet local students but also young and old graduates who were sharing their different work experiences.

Hong Kong truly is a multicultural city…

Thanks to my exchange I learned a lot about the Chinese culture even though Hong Kong has also a “western style”. In fact, Hong Kong is an international city where you can enjoy the Chinese lifestyle (food, temples and all the traditional Chinese events like mid-autumn festival) as well the European one by going to the various European restaurants or hanging out with some expatriates.

On the top of that, I have to say that Hong Kong is very well located and this enables students to travel easily throughout Asia. As far as I am concerned I went to Taipei which is pretty different from Hong Kong !

Finally I would like to mention the fact that Hong Kong is one the best cities in the world to have a fun and I’m sure you will appreciate especially the Lan Kwai Fong district !
